I write About Apple, past and present.

I wrote a little bit about my intentions with the site in the introductory Welcome to About Apple post.

Technical Details

The site uses plain HTML, CSS, and just a sprinkling of JavaScript.

I write posts in Markdown and use Eleventy to generate the static files. I also use sequoia to publish posts to my atproto account using the standard.site format

The design is inspired by 1980's Apple manuals and hopefully it manages to capture the essence of that era.

It's deployed to DigitalOcean as a static site and served by their CDN.
