I wrote a little bit about my intentions with the site in the introductory Welcome to About Apple post.

Technical Details

I decided to write the HTML for About Apple by hand, to have full control over the layout and structure of the content. The site uses plain HTML, CSS, and just a smidge of JavaScript.

The design is inspired by 1980's Apple manuals and hopefully it manages to capture the essence of that era.

It's deployed to DigitalOcean as a static site and served by their CDN.
